HomeLine Guard Check a number

Terms of use

Last updated: 2026-10-06. These terms set out how you may use HomeLine Guard at landlinehiddenfilter.com. By using the site you agree to them. If you do not agree, please do not use the site.

  1. What the site is. HomeLine Guard is an independent information site about home phones, unwanted calls and telephone area codes. It offers articles and a small reader that shows facts about the area code of a number you type. It is provided for general information and education.
  2. Who may use it and how. You may read the site, use the reader and share links to our pages for personal, non-commercial purposes. The site is not addressed to children under 13.
  3. What you must not do. You agree not to use the site, or anything you learn from it, to harass, stalk, threaten or track anyone. The reader is not designed for identifying people, and you must not use it for that. You also agree not to disrupt the site, overload it with automated requests, probe it for weaknesses or copy it in bulk.
  4. No guarantee of accuracy. We check our pages against official sources and date them, but we make no promise that the information is complete, current or free of error. Phone companies change features and codes are reassigned. The reader shows facts about area codes only and cannot confirm who owns a number, what carrier serves it or whether a call is safe. You are responsible for deciding what to do with a call.
  5. Not advice. Nothing on the site is legal, financial or professional advice. If you have a legal question about unwanted calls, or you have lost money to a scam, speak to a qualified professional, your bank or the relevant authority. Our disclaimer gives more detail.
  6. Our content. The text, layout and graphics belong to the operator of HomeLine Guard. You may quote short passages with a link back to the source page. Please do not copy whole articles or republish them without asking first. Names and trademarks of other organizations that appear here belong to their owners and are used only to describe sources or features.
  7. Links to other sites. We link to outside websites as sources. We do not control those sites and are not responsible for what they contain or how they treat your information.
  8. Messages you send us. When you write through the contact form, you promise that the details you give are your own and that your message does not break the law. We may use what you send to correct or improve a page. How a message is stored is described in the privacy policy.
  9. Availability. We try to keep the site running, but we do not promise that it will be available at all times or free of interruptions. We may change, move or remove pages and features without notice.
  10. Limits on liability. To the fullest extent the law allows, the operator of HomeLine Guard is not liable for any loss or damage arising from your use of the site or from relying on its information, including indirect or consequential loss. The site is provided as it is, without warranties of any kind, stated or implied. Some places do not allow certain limits, in which case these limits apply only as far as the law permits.
  11. Governing law. These terms are governed by the laws of the United States and the state in which the operator is established. If a part of these terms is found to be unenforceable, the rest still applies.
  12. Changes. We may update these terms from time to time. The date at the top shows when they last changed, and using the site after a change means you accept the new version.
  13. Contact. Questions about these terms can be sent to [email protected] or through the contact page.
